Fits together tightly and firmly. Used a rubber mallet to seat the parts together. There's room under the bottom shelf for an additional 10 bottles and you can also stack additional bottles on the top shelf. So, to me, this unit holds at least 42 bottles.This was given to me as a Christmas present. It looks great on my counter. It was fairly easy to put together. It’s very sturdy. I would recommend this.Worked as described. Well made and sturdySomewhat disappointing. Side pieces could have been thicker to improve sturdiness. Fit into slots is very loose. Without gluing everything together, I would not be comfortable. I will also anchor this against wall in several places, just to be safe. Like other wine racks of this style, distance front to back for bottles should be 1/2-1" less than it is to insure best fit for bottles. Not sure I recommend this rack. I would not buy again for myself.The wood appears to be Clear Poplar and the fit of the joints was tight (no wobble). The wood accepted Minwax stain well when I used stain conditioner first.Easy to assemble. Looks very nice. However the bottles sit with the top of bottles drooping down. We had to put some felt stickers on rack to keep bottles even. Quite nice for the money. Would recommendEasy to assemble. Pieces for together snugly, so no need for glue or hardware. Dimensions are accurate. Quality material. Perhaps a bit overpriced, but overall I would still recommend. Given the current price of lumber I don't think you could make it yourself for much cheaper.Product was simple and for the price it's not worth it. Some of the board is worp it's actually curve and cannot fit on the shelf because they're suppose to be straight. But I guess nothing is perfectI read the reviews, and I was a little hesitant . . . but the price was right, and I am very glad I purchased this wine rack. Everything went together well, it's very sturdy, and all my bottles fit just fine. I would recommend this to anyone without hesitation.Easy to assemble, sturdy, great value
