I purchased this rug for my daughters bedroom awhile ago. It's soft and plush looking and the white color has not yellowed. The backing is not completely slip proof but works well enough on our hard wood floor. However, this is not a rug I would recommend stepping on too often. Given its delicate fibers, it would be hard to remove surface dirt. It's also not a rug that looks vacuum friendly, but shaking it outside when needed should get rid of any debri. Overall, if you're looking for a decorative rug, it's a good purchase. It adds a textural softness and richness to a room which is what we wanted.
